Just Live Interior Design

We REGRETFULLY hired Nicolette van Oyen, owner of Just Live Interior Design in early January for a 2 room design project which should have taken 3 months. We CAUGHT HER IN SEVERAL LIES about billing and project status. She was non-responsive despite several emails. We are now out thousands of dollars. We paid her a large sum of money in February for her to pay all suppliers and purchase items. Not only did we discover she was charging us large mark-ups on items and services (up to 55%) which she SPECIFICALLY said she would not do, as we were paying her and her assistant an hourly fee, we would go weeks without hearing from her despite repeated emails. Her decorating skills are marginal at best. Most disappointing was our realization 7 months later that she had NOT PAID any suppliers and our custom furniture and cabinetry had not even been started despite her lying and telling us everything was in production. We severed our relationship and tried to recoup our money after we caught her in several lies. Unfortunately we are now out thousands of dollars and now have to deal with a barely started project.
