Do your homework and then choose another company.
Research this company thoroughly before you decide to work with them. We used them for permit drawings over a year ago which were quoted at 10 days, yet took well over 3 months to arrive. During that time, the owner made excuse after excuse as to why they didn’t have the drawings done – he blamed the city in most cases, yet all claims were found to be untrue. The work itself was sloppy, inconsistent and in a few cases just wrong, and once he finally submitted drawings the city revoked them as the ministry actually had pulled his license and fined him $27,000 for trying to fraudulently use stamps from engineers without their knowledge while running his old company – https://bit.ly/2Qc1Xt2 at the time he claimed it was for unpaid dues and when the actual truth came out he basically stopped returning calls or emails. After we charged back our payments through visa (thank god for visa, btw.) he got extremely agitated but committed to getting the drawings stamped by an associate. He tried to submit the drawings with an unsigned stamp (exactly what he was fined for) and when the city tried to contact the engineer he was nowhere to be found. He made many threats along the way of house liens and lawsuits but was ultimately paid for the substandard work his company did. We ended up having supplementary drawings done for things he neglected in our contract and refused to do and submitted on our own. In the end, our project was pushed back months and caused us to have to deal with renovations through the birth of our first child and cost us thousands more than we expected because of the delays and necessity for someone else to finish the work.
